The Peanut has arrived...
Harrison, Joeseph, Garry, Burt
At 3.20am Thurday morning I woke Steve to inform him that my waters had broke. 4.30am we made the call to hospital to let them no we had contraction 4min apart lasting a minute. Arrived at hospital at 5.30am and was taken into the delivery suite. By 11am I was not a happy camper and was asking for the epidual. So the order was placed and in came the troops to sort me out. By 4pm things were on the move so the next stage of labour begain. By 5.36pm the peanut had arrived and I had to ask "so what have we got" It was confirmed he was indeed a boy. Our wee man has massive feet and massive hands and his dad is certain he has a career in rugby (or at least he likes to hope) Although he is our Harrison or Harry for short he indeed will always be peanut to me...

39 Weeks
One week to go and mother and fatherhood are looming upon us.
Had a check up on Tuesday and baby is about 3kgs. The room is ready and there is clothes and nappies to sink a small island.
Just waiting on the little one to make its entrance now.
Next check up is on Tuesday the 10th March and we will be discussing with the doc when we can serve baby its eviction notice if it hasn't arrived before then. But baby can't come in the next 4 days as the doc is away at a conference. So legs are crossed till Monday at least.
Have had the mogs in boot camp this week. Have had the door closed to the babies room and being nosey mogs were bound to have a snoop and knowing what they are like I had to be one step a head of them so the door was opened and tin foil was laid in the cot to stop them from sleeping in it. IT WORK. Cats didn't like the feel of it under there feet and it made too much noise so out they got and they haven't been in there since. They slept next to the cot on the floor or on the couch for a couple of days and now they are not even interested in the room at all.
Hopefully my next post will have some exciting information i.e baby has been born or a date as to when baby will be evicted has been decided.
